FAIRFIELD WATERS’ UPMARKET CHARM

The Townsville Bulletin – Real Estate May 13, 2006 Page 3

THERE’S a lot to love about Fairfield Waters – just ask resident Shane Beu.

One of the main reasons Shane chose Fairfield Waters to live is the fact that while it is almost completely residential only, it is still central to everything.

“The big thing for me is convenience,” Shane said.

“I play cricket and I work in the city so it’s pretty much smack bang in the middle. I’m literally a stone’s throw away from Endeavor Park.”

Shane is also impressed by the rapid rate in which Fairfield Waters is expanding.

“It’s become a bit of an upmarket suburb,” Shane said.

“There’s all the new building industry there, there’s houses being built there in three months. They’re doing it a whole street at a time so it’s a bit of a booming suburb. It’s quadrupled its size in a year and it’s still doing pretty much the same thing extending itself into being quite a large suburb,” Shane said.

Shane loves Fairfield Waters so much, that when he and his partner decided it was time to find a place of their own they stayed in the suburb.

“This is the second house I’ve lived in in the suburb…it’s a fairly upmarket suburb in comparison to some others,” Shane said.

“It’s very picturesque, you’ve got lots of parks, you’ve got a lake centrally located in the suburb. There’s no actual shops in the suburb and ther’s only one set of units in my area, so it’s very much a residential suburb.”
