As a fully master planned community, residents of Fairfield Waters will have access to a wide range of shopping and lifestyle facilities.
The Village Centre
The Village Centre on Stuart Drive is home to McDonald's Fairfield Waters and the BP Petrol Station. Red Rooster is currently under development in this precinct and is scheduled to open in 2007.
The village centre will also feature some of Townsville's best cafes and food retail outlets, including Casey's Deli. We look forward to unveiling our new restaurants and cafes as they are confirmed.
Community Facilities
Sites have been acquired along Village Drive for a future Retirement Village and the Uniting Church. It is envisaged that Fairfield Waters' residents will have access to a future Medical Centre within the Village Drive Precinct.
Education and Childcare
 Fairfield Waters is home to the new Oonoonba State School, located on the corner of Oonoonba Road and Fairfield Waters Drive, which has been educating students from preschool to Year 7 since opening in January 2002.
Hutchison's Early Learning Centre is located on the corner of Village Drive and Fairfield Waters Drive. ABC Learning Centre Fairfield Waters is situated on Lakeland Boulevard. A third childcare centre is scheduled for completion during 2007.
Future Shopping Centre
Fairfield Waters Central Shopping Centre is set for development on the corner of Racecourse Road and Lakeside Drive. This new lakeside shopping centre is currently under civil construction, with Stage 1 planned to open in December 2007.
